MACEDON, Thessalonica. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (26mm, 8.95 g, 1h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ΘЄC/CAΛO/NIKЄΩN/NЄΩ(KO)/PΩN in five lines within wreath with central jewel consisting of five pellets. SNG ANS –; Touratsoglou 193 (V21/R137). Near VF, green surfaces, some porosity.
